# Quick Start

> Get up and running with TickDB in minutes.

This guide helps you get started with TickDB in under 10 minutes.

## Step 1: Create an API Key

Sign up at [https://tickdb.ai](https://tickdb.ai) and create an API key from the dashboard.

## Step 2: Authentication

TickDB uses API Key authentication. All REST API requests must include the following header:

X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY
```

## Step 3: Base URL
